Ο ομογενής, Νικ Κύργιοςόντας εκνευρισμένος στο δεύτερο σετ κόντρα στον Γάλλο, Ρισάρ Γκασκέ, προτίμησε να μην το παλέψει χάνοντας με 6-1 και γνωρίζοντας τις αποδοκιμασίες από την εξέδρα. Η κίνηση αυτή του νεαρού τενίστα σήκωσε θύελλα αντιδράσεων στο twitter με τους χρήστες να κάνουν λόγο για τον "Αντεγμπαγιόρ του τένις" και για "κίνηση 15χρονου".
